Photo Friday: SIMPLICITY

The Meaning of Simplicity
I hide behind the simple things so you'll find me
if you don't find me, you'll find the things
you'll touch what my hand has touched,
our hand prints will merge.

The August moon glitters in the kitchen
like a tin-plated pot
(it gets that way because
of what I'm saying to you)
it lights up the empty house and
the house's kneeling silence-
always the silence remains kneeling.

Every word is a doorway
to a meeting, one often cancelled,
and that's when a word it true:
when it insists on the meeting.

SWEET SIMPLICITY

  1. The paperweight with the evergreen, lovely. And simple. And those meals look simple too.

Genevieve, however, doesn't seem simple to me, but that may be because as her mom am responsible for her diapers, naps, etc.

    1. As I pasted Genevieve on my blog I thought, "Amber is not going to think her full of simplicity." But I remember the day, the moment; the lovely vacation to Cape Cod. And it was simple: she wanted my camera, not surprising. Yes, she is maybe only simple from afar.
